Club selection of April 2016 - Returning to one of our formidable and coveted grounds, this latest incarnation of Bada is an autumn 2015 harvest of typically outstanding quality. Almost a late summer offering, it has strengthened in its first impression flavours with a little more time in the sun while drying. Great long finishes with the added sun component this is a tea that holds a little bit longer in the mouth. Typically Puerhs enjoy a certain ration of time both sun and shade drying. When more time in the sun flavours can arrive with slightly more force. Compared with our Summer 2014 harvest offering, this Bada version has a little more power in the mouth, being a touch less subtle. Discover this Bada tea even further with Jeff.
Tasting Notes - As mentioned above, this Bada version is ever so slightly more powerful in the mouth than some we have offered. Because of extra sun and slightly less shade drying there is a little more first impression strength on the palate. Super for drinking right now and for playing with if one likes a bit of a blast of heavy green flavor. As always with the Bada offerings from Manyue village there is a wonderfully balanced combination of younger buds, mid-sized leaves and larger leaves. Our long-held love of Bada continues with this latest Sheng.
